Prosthetic arm is an artificial device that replaces a missing body arm, which may be lost through trauma, disease, or a condition present at birth. Prostheses to restore the normal functions is 3D printed arm. This arm is controlled by processing signals from the muscles. EMG sensor senses this electrical signals generated by muscles. This signals are compiled the code written in IDE Arduino software the code contains the some of the grip pat terns such as fist , hook ,Tripod ,pinch palm and thumb which indicates finger close and open. Arduino has the internal ADC(analog to digital converter) which converts analog signals into digital. These digital signals from the digital output pin of an Arduino are given to the servo motors. The output of the servo motors tends to move the fingers ,the fingers follows a certain grips such as open,close,fully open,fully close,short open,short close etc.
